In-Studio Painting
Reserve a table and come paint at your own pace; getting assistance as you need it. Staff will walk you through the basics, show you where everything is, and answer any questions before you get started.

Take-N-Make Painting
Do you want a project to work on at home? Do you have kids you want to keep busy on a school or summer break? Our Take-N-Make option is perfect for all ages. Pick out any item in the store and choose your colors. Our staff will bag everything up for you to paint at home and return for kiln firing.
Birthday Parties and Other Special Occasions
We do birthday parties, graduation parties, bachelorette parties, etc. Just contact us to see how we can work with you to make your special occasion even more memorable! :)

Done-For-You Painting
We love to make custom items for you. Bring in your pictures, come explain your ideal gift, and let us help you create a one-of-a-kind item. Dawn (owner) will personally paint your ceramic to your specifications, collaborating and sending you pictures along the way to insure it is everything you wanted and more. Dawn particularly loves to recreate heirloom pieces.
Making Memories Ceramics is local; a mom-and-pop type of store. This isn’t a chain. We don’t have to pay fees to a franchise; we can set our own prices and decide what to carry in stock - thus, Making Memories Ceramics has a huge assortment of items, and we keep the costs comparable to any of our competition. The atmosphere of the studio is unique too; Dawn is a Christian, whose faith is very important to her, so she ensures Christian music is playing throughout the store. It’s an intimate little space, and feels very personable. Dawn is not a hands-off owner or mere manager; she is completely involved in running her business and interacting with her customers.

$10.00 Studio Fee covers all paints/glazes including specialty paint and design supplies and are unlimited along with the kiln firing. Each Studio gives you 1 free return to complete an item that needs more time, no need to feel rushed!
We have the largest selection in Minnesota with over 500 ceramic items to choose from and 91 solid/speckled colors, 130 specialty colors, & 31 acrylic colors in paints & Glazes to choose from.
Welcoming and friendly owner and staff who really care about every customer. Staff are always available to answer questions, walk you through a process, help pick out colors, or to even help you come up with an amazing design for your chosen item.
Painting here is fun but it also will give you an opportunity to help your community as we like to give back to the community and regularly hold fundraisers and/or donate to fundraisers or events to help the people and surrounding area of Ramsey, MN.
We offer step-by-step follow along videos for specific painting techniques, or choose from one of our step-by-step technique sheets that you can follow at your own pace and ask questions as needed.
We offer a fun and easy birthday or event package - let us deal with the mess! We do all the clean-up, you get a dedicated person to help you serve food, keep kids engaged and having fun, and to make sure your event runs smoothly and everyone leaves with smiles and happy memories. We also offer a custom signature party plate or platter for your guests to sign as a keepsake for your special event as an add-on option.
